🇺🇸 USA Tariff Refund Guarantee — Terms & Conditions

This Guarantee will terminate on the 5th of August 2025. Any orders after this date are not covered by this guarantee. 

As of August 29th all parcels coming through from the UK to USA will be subject to import duty. Prior to this your order would have been exempt of this import duty thanks to the De Minimis rule. At the moment I am unable to give you an exact estimate on how much this duty is going to be. At the worst it will be a flat rate of $80 to $200 per item. At the best I expect it to be 15% and a handling fee to USPS.

I want to make ordering from Taitaya Forge as smooth and stress-free as possible, even with the current uncertainty around tariffs. That’s why I am offering this special guarantee to our US customers.

If you're charged a tariff or import duty on your Taitaya Forge order, I will refund it, up to the full value of your order.

Here's how it works:

  • If you receive a notice of import duty or tariff when your order arrives, pay the charge and keep the receipt.

  • Send us:

    • A photo or scan of the official payment receipt (not just the invoice),

    • Your order number or proof of purchase.

  • I will refund the amount you paid in tariffs or duties back to your original payment method, up to the full amount you paid for your order (including any discounts).

Important Notes:

  • This offer is valid for all US orders, regardless of order value.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • You can use this offer multiple times — it’s not limited to one order per customer.

  • If you used a discount or promotion, your refund will be limited to the amount you actually paid for the order.

  • No refunds will exceed the amount paid on the original order.

Currency & Exchange Rate

  • Refunds will be processed in GBP (British Pounds).

  • This means the USD amount refunded may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees set by your bank or payment provider.

Fair Use & Changes:

  • I reserve the right to deny refund claims where:

    • Sufficient proof of payment is not provided,

    • There is evidence of misuse or suspicious activity.

  • This promotion may end without notice if:

    • US tariff rates rise significantly (e.g., over 80%),

    • The $800 USD de minimis exemption is removed.

  • If you placed your order before the promotion was withdrawn, I will still honor tariff refunds — even if policy changes occur during shipping.
