Affiliate and Referral Program Terms
This program is ending January 1st 2026. No new codes will be issued, but if you have a code from last year, it will be valid for a year from your the purchase it was issued. .
Why end it? The amount of codes issued and the amount used in return indicated that there wasn't much uptake, compared to the amount of work it added into manually creating codes, recording them in bookkeeping. If I can find a simpler way of doing it, I will likely return it in version 2.0

Starting in January 2025 orders placed at Taitaya.com will have a unique discount code generated for 10% discount of the whole order. This code is linked onto each customer. If the code is used to purchase a new order, another 10 % of that order value will be set aside to the customer who's code was used. The sum will be rounded up to the nearest whole GBP.
If a code is used, I will contact the customer via email to check how they wish to receive the payment. Current options are:
- Store credit
- Refund of original purchase
- Transfer via PayPal, or similar payment processor
If I cannot reach the customer within 1 month to arrange payment, the balance will be donated to a charity of our choosing.
The code is valid for 1 year from issue.
The code can be used multiple times.
The code can be used by the customer to whom the code is issued. A refund of 10% will be issued on the new order.
At the moment the code cannot be combined with other discounts, but this can be reviewed case by case and may change in the future.
The customer must let whoever they give the code to know they will receive a benefit from the code being used.
Data will be stored in our records to keep track of payments made and codes used. Customers can Opt Out any time and request their data to be cleared. In this case the code will be de-activated and there will be no further payments.
The code, discount or benefit cannot be assigned after a purchase has been made.
In the event of an order cancellation, the code associated with the order will be deactivated.
In the event of multiple cancellations of orders after the benefit has been paid, the code will be de-activated pending investigation. Please play fair my friends.
In the event of suspected abuse of this program I keep the right to not issue new codes with new orders on a case by case basis.
