This miniature Viking spearhead pendant represents Odin's magical spear Gungnir. It is hand forged out of Sterling silver with a hollow tang, decorated with Viking filework and stampwork, commonly found in hacksilver.

The pendant is not cast to shape. The shape has been forged using the same techniques as its iron counterpart (https://www.taitaya.com/collections/all-items/products/viking-spear-head-pendant-gungnir-pendant). The now unusual method of making makes each pendant like it unique with its own texture. Forging is always slower than casting, so at no point will there ever be many of these made by myself. This is the second one ever.

The pendant is suspended onto a heavy solid sterling chain. Let me know upon ordering what length you would like the necklace to be

This necklace is made to order, so small differences in size shape and texture are likely. I will send you a photo of your necklace once it is complete.

A small engraving of a single rune or bindrune can be added onto the shaft. If you would like an additional engraving, please let me know upon ordering what you would like

As a made to order silver item , note the longer processing time. This is because your necklace will need to be sent into London to be assayed and Hallmarked after completion.
